The Surfrider Foundation
The Surfrider Foundation is the leading protector of our nation’s oceans, waves, and beaches. As a 501(c)(3) grassroots non-profit environmental organization it works to protect and preserve the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches. The Surfrider Foundation largely focuses its work on such issues as water quality, beach access, beach and surf spot preservation, and sustaining marine and coastal ecosystems.
The Surfrider Foundation is headquartered in San Clemente, California, has over 50,000 members and was founded in 1984. Dr. Ken has been a lifetime member of the Surfrider Foundation for many years. He enjoys being active in his local chapter by getting out and doing beach cleanups and other volunteer events.
A portion of the profits from Humu Surf will go towards advancing the mission of the Surfrider Foundation. Show your mutual support by becoming an annual or lifetime member of Surfrider. You can also join your local chapter in its many endeavors such as weekend beach cleanups and fun events such as Surfrider San Diego’s Annual Art Gala or ‘ Paddle for Clean Water’.
